Fall Athletic League Update
Due to the ongoing public health situation related to COVID-19 and the restrictions limiting the number of participants we are able to accommodate at any given time, all Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources 2020 Fall Athletics Leagues have been canceled.  These include the following:

Adult Co-Rec Softball
Adult Co-Rec Ultimate Frisbee
Youth Fall Baseball
Youth Flag Football

Participants who were registered for these programs will receive a full credit on their registration accounts in RecTrac.  For participants who prefer to have their registration fee balances refunded, please send a written request to our Administrative Assistant at dsanders@townofcarrboro.org

Fall Athletic Classes and Clinics
Please note that other athletic programs, such as classes, clinics, and instructional programs are still scheduled to occur as these programs have less participants and are able to be modified in a manner that allows for safer implementation.

Youth Basketball Update
At this time, the status of our Youth Basketball program is to be determined. 

We are continuing to monitor the situation and communicate with the school system and will only proceed when it has been determined that accessing the facilities and conducting the program is safe for everyone involved.

In the meantime, registration will proceed as scheduled (September 2^nd for Carrboro Residents and September 3^rd for all other participants) so that participants are in place and we are ready to move forward if and when it is safe to do so. 

However, the program timeline and format may be modified if necessary to comply with local, state, and/or federal recommendations and restrictions.  If the program is canceled, full refunds will be given to those who have registered.

General Programs Update
As indoor Town facilities remain closed during Phase 2, indoors classes and events that are not able to move to outdoor facilities have been canceled.  Below are updates on programs affected thus far:

Course 101201-A - Toddler Pre-School Playtime will not be held until further notice.
Course 101103-A - Babysitting Training (September 2^nd/3^rd) has been canceled.
Course 102115-A - Indian Cooking (September 1^st-15^th) will be moved to a virtual format (Zoom).
Course 103113-A - Food for Life for Teens (September 12^th-October 3^rd) will be moved to a virtual format (Zoom).
Course 105205-A - Poets Open Mic (September 1^st) has been canceled.
Course 105304-A - Kids Dog Show (September 12^th) has been canceled.
