CARRBORO, N.C. -- An early morning concrete pour is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the 203 Project, the new library and civic building under construction on S. Greensboro Street in Carrboro.
Work will begin at 4 a.m. and should be complete by late morning. All travelers are urged to slow down, be alert, and drive with caution as the work may impact traffic on Roberson Street between Maple Avenue and S. Greensboro Street.
Background
The $42 million development will be the future home of the Orange County Southern Branch Library. The facility will also provide a permanent home for the Orange County Skills Development Center; Carrboro Recreation, Parks and Cultural Resources Department; WCOM Radio; and performance/multipurpose uses. The 203 Project will provide opportunities for education, art and community connection.
