The Town of Carrboro is accepting applications for the Carrboro Citizens Academy.
If you would like a better understanding of the town, a familiar face to answer everyday questions about local government, and 11 new friends – you should definitely apply!
The free, six-session course of interactive classes is designed to provide insight into Town government and develop future leaders through well informed and civically engaged residents. Participants will enjoy an up-close and personal look at how Town government functions and helps shape our community.
Citizens Academy sessions will take place Wednesdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. starting on Sept. 8 and ending Oct. 20, 2021.
